Henry, 66, of Rockwood RD 3, died June 2, 1996, at Conemaugh Memorial Hospital, Johnstown. Born July 27, 1929, in Colonial Heights, Va. Preceded in death by father, George R. Henry, and stepmother, Virginia (Bowman) Henry; also brother, Sid Henry. Survived by wife, the former Arlene Weimer; sons: Rick, married to Belinda, of Ligonier, and Craig, married to Karen, of Houston, Texas, and five grandchildren. Brother of Bill Henry of New Bern, N.C., and Mrs. Winston Carrie M. Lowe of Elberon, Va. Veteran of U.S. Army where he served for 21 years, 6 months in Europe, Korea, and various Pacific Islands. He saw duty in Korea with the 17th Infantry and was awarded the Korean Service Medal with two bronze stars, Combat Infantry Badge, U.N. Service Medal, and the National Defense Service Medal with oak leaf clusters. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. (today) Tuesday at the Wilbur D. Miller Funeral Home, Rockwood, where funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Pastor Dean Roberts officiating. Interment, Rockwood IOOF Cemetery. Daily American, June 4, 1996 [H0822]
