Henry, 73, of Rockwood passed on June 18, 2002 at Select Specialty Hospital in Johnstown. Born Aug. 9, 1928 in Middlecreek Township, he was the son of the late Ernest and Audrey (Isenmeinger) Henry. Preceded in death by his brother, John Henry. He is survived by his wife of 50 years. Nancy "Betty" (Temple) Henry. He was the beloved father of Carey David, married to Linda, Henry of Rockwood, Patty, married to Garth Miller of Pittsburgh, Gary King, married to Veronika of Heilbronn, Germany, MaryAnn, married to Scott Leazier of Friedens, and Michael, married to Michelle, Henry of Burton, Ohio. He is also survived by grandchildren, Shanna, Braiden, Brock, Jordan, and Sydney. Brother of Jean Gum of Pittsburgh and Howard Henry of Rockwood. He was a retired carpenter and a veteran of the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was a member of Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church in Scullton where he was an active participant in Mission Work locally and regionally. He was a member of the Meyersdale Lodge of the Free and Accepted Masons. He operated the "Camp Horrible" maple sugar camp in Middlecreek Township and was a member of the Scullton Rod and Gun Club. He was an avid golfer and motorcyclist. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Miller Funeral Home, Somerset. A service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Wesley Chapel Church, Rev. John Hollis officiating.
