Henry, 83, West Union Street, Somerset, died July 8, 1980, at his residence. He was born March 13, 1897, in Middlecreek Township, Somerset County, and was a son of the late John F. and Isabelle (Barron) Henry. He was preceded in death by his wife, the former Mabel Jones; also by three brothers and a sister. He is survived by these children: Allen B., Baltimore, Md.; Norma, wife of Richard Miller, Westerville, Ohio; Iona, wife of James T. Parker, Somerset; 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was the brother of: Mrs. Mabel Thomas, Harrisburg; Ernest, Rockwood RD 3; and Miss Ruth, Rockwood. He was a member of Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church. For many years he had owned and operated auto repair shops in Somerset. He was a veteran of WW I. Friends were received at the Richard E. Hauger Funeral Home, where services were conducted with the Rev. Robert Doyle officiating. Interment, Wesley Chapel Cemetery. Meyersdale Republic, July 17, 1980 [H0852]
