Born April 24, 1920 in Middlecreek Township, he was a son of James Wesley and Mary (Pirl) Henry. He is survived by his wife, Betty Spangler Henry, Rockwood RD 2; one daughter, Mrs. Darl (Virginia) Sanner, Somerset; two brothers: Emerson, Rockwood RD 3 and Forrest Woodrow Henry, Rockwood RD 2; one sister, Mrs. Olive Morgan, Rockwood; two grandsons: Michael and Charles Sanner, Somerset. He was a member of the Somerset VFW, a WW II veteran and a member of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters. Friends were received in the William J. Wood Funeral Home, Rockwood, where services were conducted with the Rev. Gregory Pile officiating. Interment, Rockwood IOOF Cemetery. Meyersdale Republic, October 5, 1978 [H0854]
