Henry, 83, of Normalville RD 1, died Friday, Oct. 28, 1994, at his home. He was born April 3, 1911, in Somerset County, a son of the late Roy and Kathryn (Geary) Henry. He was a retired coal miner and farmer. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during World War II. He was a member of the Apostolic Church of Jesus Christ in Somerset. He is survived by his wife, Orpha (Stout) Henry; four sons: Delmar, at home; Donald and his wife, Catherine of Connellsville, Charles and his wife, Lynette of Connellsville, and John of Somerset; six daughters: Mrs. Harry (Alice) Sanner of Somerset; Mrs. John (Elsie) Porter of Greensburg, Mrs. Richard (Judy) Blackstone of Connellsville, Mrs. Joseph (Ethel) Renna of Somerset, and Mary Henry of Normalville; 22 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; two brothers: John of Normalville; and Roy of Scottdale; five sisters: Mrs. Ray (Rebecca) Peck of Rockwood; Nettie Wilson of Hollsopple, Mrs. Ray (Ruby) Miller of Somerset, Mrs. Clarence (Emily) Ritenour of Normalville, and Mrs. Clyde (Beda) Fresh of Rockwood. He was preceded in death by four children, one brother, Tommy Henry, and two sisters, Blanche Oakes and Leona Henry. Friends will be received at the Clyde Brooks Funeral Home, Inc., Route 711, Melcroft, from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday, and from 10 a.m. until 9 p.m. Sunday. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday in the funeral home, with Bishop Irvin Knieriem and Rev. Paul Romesburg officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt.
