Born March 10, 1914, in Berlin, a daughter of Fred and Hannah (Johns) Platt. Preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband, John A. Hepler; daughter, Dorothy Anklam; and nine brothers and sisters. Survived by her sons, John, married to the former Lois Miller, Springs; and Dan, married to the former Gwen Shisler, Pittsburgh; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. She was a former cafeteria manager at Berlin Brothersvalley High School. A longtime member of Berlin Brethren Church where she was a Deaconess and Sunday School teacher for over 50 years. She spent nine winters in Florida and North Carolina doing volunteer work at mission churches. Family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin, where a service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday. Pastor Eugene Oburn of- ficiating.
