  Maxine Sipe Herb, 58, of West Union St., died April 25, 1973, in
  Somerset Community Hospital.  Born in Somerset, March 3, 1915 a
  daughter of the late E. Ernest and Pauline Schlag Sipe.  Survived by
  her husband, C. Ernest, these children: Ernest S., Pompano Beach,
  Fla., William S. Camp Hill, Pa., and Miss Sharon S., California, Pa.,
  and three grandchildren, William, Gregory and Ernest.  She was a
  member of Trinity Lutheran Church and former owner and manager of the
  Polly Jane Shop.  Private funeral services Friday at the convenience
  of the family with the Rev. H. James Meyers officiating.  Interment
  in Husband Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to
  Trinity Lutheran Church.  Arrangements in charge of Robert H.
  Halverson Funeral Home.
