Miller-Herdman, 43, of Indian Lake, formerly of Richland Township, died May 11, 1996, at home. Born March 5, 1953, in Johnstown, a son of William Sr. and Patricia (Silbaugh) Herdman. Preceded in death by mother and an infant sister. Survivors include grandmother, Florence Herdman of Johnstown; father, of Richland; wife Loretta "Lee" Miller and children: Tammy, wife of James Fiffick, Indian Lake; Laurie, Johnstown, and Cpl. First Class Scott, Quantico, Va.; beloved granddaughter, Annie Lee Fiffick; two nephews and one niece. Brother of Judy, wife of Joseph Solensky, Windber; Michael, married to the former Debbie Keifline, and John, both of Johnstown, and Ron, Wilmington, Del. Served for three years in the U.S. Army, Second Battalion, Fifth Field Artillery Unit. Employed by Yoder Electric of Jerome and a member of Scalp Level Trinity United Methodist Church and Berlin VFW Post 7295. Avid NASCAR race fan. Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Scalp Level Trinity United Methodist Church, Pastor Arthur Moffat officiating. Interment with military rite at Richland Cemetery. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland, and one hour prior to service at church. Daily American, May 14, 1996 [H0883]
