  HERRING
  
  Charles Russell Herring, 59, of Maple Mountain Manor, Berlin,
  formerly of Lavansville, died Sept. 10, 1981, at Maple Mountain
  Manor.  He was born Dec. 24, 1921, in Somerset Township, son of the
  late John and Mary (Stubs) Herring.  Member of St. Paul's United
  Church of Christ, Somerset.  Grave side service will be conducted in
  the Reformed Cemetery, Lavansville, at the convenience of the family,
  with the Rev. Richard Shellenberger officiating under the direction of
  the Richard E. Hauger Funeral Home.
