EMMA PRITTS HERRING

  Mrs. Emma Pritts Herring, aged 84 years, died on Wednesday morning, Feb. 12, 
at her home near Lavansville.  Her husband, Israel Herring, died several years 
ago.  She is survived by these children:  George and Charles F., both of 
Somerset; John Russell Herring, Johnstown, and Sara Herring, at home.  One 
brother, Noah Pritts, of Wilson Creek, and one sister, Drucilla Boyd, of 
Keystone Heights, Fla., also survive.  Rev. Dr. George L. Roth, pastor of St. 
Paul's Reformed Church, Somerset, had charge of the funeral ceremonies at 2:30 
Saturday afternoon.
