MARY HERRING

  Mrs. Mary (Siehl) Herring, widow of Albert Herring, died at her home, 
Meyersdale R.D. 3 at 4 o'clock this (Thursday) morning, August 24, at the age of 
73 years.
  She was born in Meyersdale, November 14, 1870, a daughter of Daniel and 
Araminta (Haer) Siehl, both natives of Germany.  Her husband died Dec. 19, 1941.
  Surviving are four sons, J. Walter Harris, Primos, Pa., Ralph, Roy and Lee, 
all of Meyersdale; three daughters, Miss Ida May, Mrs. Ruth Irwin and Miss 
Maude, Meyersdale; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
  The following sisters and brothers also survive: Mrs. C. E. Tressler, Boynton; 
Mrs. C. M. Tressler, Acosta; Mrs. Michael Wiland, Akron, O.; Mrs. Ernest Barker, 
Kenmore, O.; and Charles F. Siehl, Meyersdale, R.D.
  Funeral services will be conducted at 4 o'clock on Sunday afternoon at the 
Herring home by Rev. T. R. Thomas, pastor of the Methodist Church, of which she 
was a member.  Interment will be made in Union Cemetery in charge of W. C. Price 
& Son.
