  HERRING
  
    Maude Herring, 96, of Meyersdale, died Sep. 23, 2000 at Goodwill
  Mennonite Home, Grantsville, Md.  Born Jan. 18, 1904 in Summit Township,
  daughter of the late Albert and Mary (Siehl) Herring.  Also preceded in
  death by two sisters, Ida Mae Herring and Ruth Irwin, and four brothers,
  Walter Herring, Ralph Herring, Lee "Pesty" Herring and Roy "Shad"
  Herring.  She was survived by numerous nieces and nephews.  Maude was a
  life member of the United Methodist Church, Meyersdale, and was a retired
  school teacher of the Meyersdale School District.  Friends were received
  Sunday at Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale, where services will be conducted
  at 2 p.m. Monday (today) with the Rev. Joseph Onder officiating. 
  Interment, Union Cemetery, Meyersdale.
