  CLIFFORD F. HERSCH
  
    Clifford F. Hersch, 50, of Meyersdale, died Sept. 6, 1983, Meyersdale
  Community Hospital.  He was born July 23, 1933, in Sand Patch, a son of
  Herman W. and Mary Belle (Cameron) Hersch of Meyersdale RD 4.  He was
  preceded in death by his wife, the former Patricia A. Miller.
    He is survived by a son, Douglas A., at home; and two daughters: Mrs.
  Roger (Vicki) Stephens of Meyersdale; and Miss Sally, at home; also, two
  grandchildren.  A brother of Herman K., Glencoe RD 1; William D., Mrs.
  Alice Freas, both of Meyersdale RD 4; Charles C., Lester A., and Mrs.
  Genevieve Miller, all of Meyersdale; Dale C., of Friedens RD 1; Douglas A.,
  of Gilbert, Ariz.; Mrs. Arlene Dawson, of Bremerhaven, Germany; Mrs. Janet
  Dickmeyer of East Berlin, Pa.; Mrs. Hazel Zolly, Wheaton, Md.; and Miss
  Dorothy Hersch of Berlin.
    He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.  Was a plant superintendent for Penn
  Tables Inc. of Meyersdale where he was employed for the past 22 years.  He
  was a member of the Meyersdale Church of the Brethren where he served as a
  deacon, a Sunday school teacher, member of choir and men's chorus.
    Friends were received at the Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale, where
  services were conducted with the Rev. Bobby Phillips officiating. 
  Interment, Union Cemetery.
    In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the heart fund.
