HARRISON F. HERSCH

  Harrison F. Hersch of Sand Patch RD died March 22 in Ypsilanti, Mich., after a 
very brief illness, while visiting his son, William F. Hersch.  He was born 
April 13, 1873, in Somerset County, the son of Oliver and Mary (Geiger) Hersch.
  He is survived by three sons, Herman W., Sand Patch; Harry W., Salina, Mich., 
and Wilbert F., Ypsilanti, Mich.; by three daughters, Mrs. James Housel, 
Somerset RD; Mrs. Charles Plitt, Newark, Del., and Mrs. Harold Wooroff, 
Ypsilanti, and by 29 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
  His body was brought to Meyersdale to the Price Funeral Home, where friends 
were received, and on Sunday was taken to the White Oak Lutheran Church where 
funeral services were held at two o'clock by the Rev. Charles Raley.  Interment 
was made in the church cemetery.
