    Nancy L. Hersch, 59, of Piersol Road, Friedens, died May 11, 1998, at
  University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.  Born Sept. 8, 1938 in Gray,
  daughter of the late Charles and Ethel (Mellott) Fisher.  Preceded in death
  by parents; brother, Charles Fisher Jr., and sister, Dorothy Bowser. 
  Survived by husband of 38 years, Dale Hersch; daughter, Mrs. Ross (Ruth)
  Shaffer of Friedens; and three grandchildren, Drew, Westley and Hannah. 
  Sister of Mrs. Harold (Adaline) Pyle of Jennerstown; Donna Sipe of
  Somerset; Betty Caler of Meyersdale; and Robert Fisher of Reels Corner. 
  Member of Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church.  Friends will be received
  from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, at Miller
  Funeral Home, Somerset, where funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m.
  Friday with the Rev. David Jack officiating.  Interment, Husband Cemetery.
