  HERSHBERGER
  
    Cloyd L. Hershberger. 72, of Somerset RD 5, died Nov. 11, 1996, at
  Somerset Hospital.  Born Feb. 3, 1924, in Shade Township, son of the late
  Curtis and Madeline (Zimmerman) Hershberger.  Survived by his wife of 51
  years, the former Madaline R. Zimmerman; these children: Mrs. Robert G.
  (Martha) Robinson of Fairhope RD 1; Ellen Pritts of Grapevine, Texas, and
  Alan, married to the former Dorothy Kalina, of Boswell RD 3; three
  grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.  Brother of Earl of Johnstown
  and Hildamae Urban, Friedens RD 2.  Retired from GTE after 18 years.  World
  War II Army veteran.  Member of Mt. Laurel United Church of Christ, NRA, and
  13th Armored Division Assn., WW II.  Also life member of Somerset VFW and
  Somerset American Legion.  Family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m.
  Tuesday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Deaner Funeral Home,
  Stoystown, where service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday.  Rev. Joseph M.
  Beer.  Interment, Horner-Mt. Tabor Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be
  given to Mt. Laurel UCC Building Fund, RD 2 Boswell, Pa.  15531.
