    EFFIE S. HERSHBERGER
  
    Effie S. Hershberger, 88, of RD 1, Grantsville, Md., died Friday, July
  29, 1988, at her residence.
    Born in Grantsville, Md., May 22, 1900, she was a daughter of the late
  Samuel and Elizabeth (Tice) Hershberger.
    She attended Mountain View Christian Fellowship.
    Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Barbara S. Yoder and a foster sister, Mrs.
  Anna Baker, both of Grantsville, Md., and several nieces and nephews.
    Friends were received at the Newman Funeral Home in Grantsville.
    Services were conducted at Mountain View Christian Fellowship Sunday at 2
  p.m. by the Rev. Lewis Tice.  Interment, church cemetery.
