    IRVIN S. HERSHBERGER
  
    Irvin S. Hershberger, 81, Confluence, formerly of Johnstown, died Friday,
  May 6, in Meyersdale Community Hospital.  He was born Feb. 15, 1885 in
  Conemaugh township, a son of Isaiah and Catherine (Fry) Hershberger.
    He is survived by his wife, Helen Flick Hershberger; a daughter, Mrs.
  Meta Yockey, Monrovia, Liberia; a step-son, Jack Younkin, Lutz, Fla.; seven
  grandchildren; a brother, Dorsey Hershberger, Johnstown, and a sister, Mrs.
  Minnie Mattingly, Sarasota, Fla.
    Mr. Hershberger was a member of the Confluence Methodist Church and life
  member of Conemaugh Valley F and AM.
    Funeral service was held Sunday at 2 p.m. in Humbert Funeral Home, the
  Rev. James Bissel officiating.  Interment in Addison Cemetery.
