MARY L. HERSHBERGER

  Mrs. Mary (Miller) Hershberger, 62, Meyersdale R.D. 1, widow of Joel 
Hershberger, died Tuesday night, Dec. 24, after an illness of three days.  She 
was born Sept. 12, 1884, in Summit Twp.  Her husband died last April.
  The only surviving relative is a brother, David Miller of Summit Mills.
  Mrs. Hershberger was a member of the Oak Grove Amish Mennonite Church, near 
Compton's Mills.  
  The body lay in state at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Homer Maust, Meyersdale R.D. 
1, until the time of the funeral services Friday at 2 p.m. in the Old Order 
Amish Church at Summit Mills.  Rev. Irvin Miller officiated assisted by Rev. 
Christian Hershberger.  Burial was made in the Yoder Cemetery on the Joel 
Hershberger farm under the direction of H. R. Konhaus.
