  HERSHEY
   
    Rebecca A. Hershey, 83, of Somerset, died Nov. 26, 1988, in the Somerset
  Community Hospital.  Born Aug. 3, 1905, in Harrison City. Daughter of the
  late Frank and Agnes (Cole) Hodge.  Preceded in death by step-father,
  William T. Smith; husband, Dr. William O. Hershey; and son, William D.
  Hershey.  Survived by son, Robert T. Hershey, New London; and daughter, Mrs.
  Robert K. (Betsy) Knopsnyder, Garrett RD 1; eight grandchildren and 13
  great-grandchildren.  Retired elementary teacher from Somerset and Shade
  School Districts.  Member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ and a
  charter member of the Somerset Welfare League.  Private viewing and service
  will be held Monday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home with the Rev. Glenn
  E. Sadler officiating.  Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park.  Family
  suggests contributions to St. Paul's United Church of Christ.
