Hetrick, 72, of Salisbury RD 1, died January 25, 1984 at his residence. He was born in Elk Lick Township and was a son of the late Samuel Hetrick and Clara (Stevans) Hetrick. His wife, Pearl (Johnston) Hetrick, died March 27, 1973. He was a retired heavy equipment operator with Local 37, International Union of Operating Engineers, Baltimore, Md. He was a member of the Springs Mennonite Church and Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 76, Meyersdale. He is survived by four sons, Donald Hetrick, Charles Hetrick and Larry Hetrick, all of Palm Springs, Calif.; Floyd Hetrick, Meyersdale; five daughters, Mrs. Esther Durst, Grantsville, Md.; Miss Marion Hetrick, Meyersdale; Mrs. Donna DuVall, Sykesville, Md.; Mrs. Sandy Kenner, Dale City, Va.; Mrs. Marjorie Bowman, Salisbury; two brothers, Kenneth R. Hetrick, Fort Hill; Walter Hetrick, Akron, Ohio; one sister, Mrs. Gladys Knopsnyder, Youngstown, Ohio; 17 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Friends were at the Newman Funeral Home, Grantsville, where services were conducted with the Rev. Walter Otto officiating. Interment was in the Springs Cemetery. The Republic, February 2, 1984 [H0982]
