ELIZABETH HETRICK

  Funeral services for Mrs. Elizabeth Hetrick, 73, widow of Melchoe Hetrick, who 
died at her home in Bittinger, were conducted Monday at 4 p.m. in the Bittinger 
Lutheran Church, with  Rev. George Bowersox of Salisbury, Pa., officiating.  
Interment was in the church cemetery.
  Mrs. Hetrick was a native of Bittinger, a daughter of the late Samuel and 
Christina (Durst) Slabaugh.  She had resided with her daughter-in-law, Mrs. Ruth 
Hetrick, since the death of her husband.
  Surviving are three sons, Roy Hetrick, Salisbury, Pa., Lester Hetrick, 
Fairmont, W.Va., and Ernest Hetrick, Akron, Ohio; three brothers, Noah Slabaugh, 
Gortner; Clayton Slabaugh, Crellin, and Elwood Slabaugh of Weston, W.Va.; three 
sisters, Mrs. Lydia Stark, Bittinger; Mrs. Orpha Compston, Mt. Lake, and Mrs. 
Clara Hutchinson, Arkansas; also by 13 grandchildren and two great-
grandchildren.
