Hetrick, 80, 180 Christner Hollow Road, Fort Hill, died June 6, 1998, near his residence. Born Feb. 28, 1918, near Springs, a son of the late Samuel and Clara (Stevanus) Hetrick. Survived by wife, Evelyn R. "Katie" (Durst) Hetrick; 2 daughters, Shirley Weldemere, Midvale, Va., and Althea Rowand, Owing, Md.; a brother, Walter, Akron, Ohio; 4 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Attended Seventh Day Adventist Church, Frostburg, Md. Was a retired road construction supervisor for Denton Construction. Former Elk Lick Township Supervisor. Member of NRA and the Glade View Rod and Gun Club. Friends received from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at the Newman Funeral Home, Grantsville, Md., where service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, with Pastor Brian Savage officiating.
