  MERLE E. HETRICK
  
    Merle E. Hetrick, 57, of Grantsville RD 1, Md., died Wednesday, May 27,
  1987, at his home.
    Born in Garrett County March 6, 1930, he was the son of the late Irvin E.
  and Iva May (Bittinger) Hetrick.
    He was a retired brickmaker with the Harbison-Walker Refractory.  He was
  a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church, and Local 14404, USW.  He
  was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
    Surviving are his widow, Shirley L. (Brower) Hetrick; two sons, William
  M. Hetrick, McHenry, Md., and David E. Hetrick, Grantsville, Md.; one
  daughter, Mrs. Dawn L. Riley, Oakland, Md.; two brothers, Reed Hetrick and
  Dale Hetrick, both of Grantsville, Md. and one grandchild.
    Friends were received in the Newman Funeral Home, Grantsville, Md. where
  services were conducted Saturday at 2 p.m. by the Rev. Samuel Wachter. 
  Interment, Grantsville Cemetery.
