Hetrick, 91, of Salisbury, died Feb. 15, 1985, at Meyersdale Community Hospital. Born Dec. 12, 1893, in Bittinger, Md. son of the late Melchior and Elizabeth (Slabaugh) Hetrick. Preceded in death by two wives, Mary Glotfelty and Blanche Speicher, a son Mark, and four daughters, Mrs. Miriam Garlitz of Salisbury and Miss Rhea Hetrick of Baltimore, Md.; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He spent most of his life working for Bird Brothers Turkey Farm, and was a veteran of World War I and a life member of the Salisbury American Legion, Earl H. Opel Post. A member of St. John's Lutheran Church of Salisbury. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Saturday at the Thomas Funeral Home, where funeral services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m., the Rev.
