  Ruth E. Hetrick, 77, of Somerset, formerly of Shanksville, died Jan. 8, 
  2004, at Siemon Lake View Manor Estate.  Born Feb. 11, 1926, in Stonycreek 
  Township, she is the daughter of Roscoe and Ada (Miller) Snyder.  Preceded 
  in death by her parents, husband Carl M. Hetrick, son Carl Lee Hetrick, 
  and brothers Herbert, Vernon, Hillis, Edgar, Willard, Delbert and Roscoe 
  and a sister Ida.  Survived by these children: Darlene, married to Barry 
  Zeigler, Warrenton, Va.; Pauline, married to Virgil Walker, Somerset; 
  Gerald, married to the former Amiee Arris, Minerva, Ohio; Raymond, married 
  to the former Alma Weyant, Quakertown; Donald, married to the former Deb 
  Butler, Meyersdale; 15 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, one 
  great-great-granddaughter; a brother Ernest Snyder, Las Vegas, Nev.; a 
  sister Irma Heiple, Somerset; and special friend Madison Updyke.  She was a 
  member of Somerset Alliance Church and enjoyed reading her Bible, singing 
  and bingo.  Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday 
  at Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin, where a service will be held at 2 p.m. 
  Monday with Rev. James E. Vandervort officiating.  Interment Glade 
  Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be sent to Somerset Alliance Church, 
  708 Stoystown Road, Somerset, Pa. 15501.

  Ruth E. Hetrick, 77, of Somerset, formerly of Shanksville, died Thursday,
  January 8, 2004, at Siemon Lakeview Manor Estate.
  Born February 11, 1926, in Stonycreek Township, she was the daughter of
  Roscoe and Ada (Miller) Snyder.
  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Carl M. Hetrick, son
  Carl Lee Hetrick, and brothers Herbert, Vernon, Hillis, Edgar, Willard,
  Delbert and Roscoe and a sister Ida.
