  THOMAS W. HETZ
  
    Thomas W. Hetz, 76, of Lonaconing RD 1, Maryland, died March 26 at
  Meyersdale Community Hospital.
    Born at Avilton, Md., he was a son of the late William A. and Margaret
  (Wilhelm) Hetz.  Mr. Hetz was a member of Fort Cumberland Lodge, Fraternal
  Order of Police, Frostburg Aerie 1273, FO Eagles, and had been a member of
  the Garrett County Election Board for 18 years.
    Surviving are his widow, May (Cosner) Hetz; six sons, Karl T., Thomas E.
  and William Hetz, all of Frostburg, Md.; Paul Hetz, Jacksonville, Md.;
  Andrew Hetz, Churchville, Va.; and Harry A., Beltsville, Md.; a daughter,
  Mrs. Kitty Taylor, College Park, Md.; a brother, Melvin Hetz, Meyersdale; a
  sister, Mrs. Agnes Bowers, Callery; a half sister, Mrs. Luemma Otto,
  Springs; 16 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
    Funeral services were held Tuesday at Newman Funeral Home with Mrs.
  Evelyn Bowman officiating.  Interment, Grantsville Cemetery.
