  JOHN F. HICKENBOTTOM
  
    John F. Hickenbottom, 97, Meyersdale, died Oct. 27, 2000 in Beverly
  Manor, Meyersdale.  He was born March 23, 1903 in Grantsville, W.Va., a son
  of the late Valentine and Sarah Jane (Smith) Hickenbottom.  He was preceded
  in death by his wife Lulu Meyers Hickenbottom in 1988.  He is survived by a
  son Frank of Greensburg, two grandsons, Kenneth and Dale Hickenbottom both
  of Greensburg, and three other grandchildren.  He was a retired equipment
  operator B&O Railroad.  A member of Zion Lutheran Church, Meyersdale. 
  Brotherhood of M of W employees.  Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 7 to
  9 p.m. Sunday at Leckemby Funeral Home where the funeral service will be at
  2 p.m. Monday with Rev. Ardelle Mason, officiating.  Interment Union
  Cemetery.
