PATRICK JOSEPH HIGGINS

  Patrick Joseph Higgins died at his home in Duquesne, Pa., March 1, at the age 
of 81 years.  He was a native of Maryland, and lived at Vale Summit, Md., until 
moving to Duquesne where he lived for the past 25 years.  He is survived by his 
wife, Mrs. Nora Higgins, and two step-daughters, Mrs. William Day of McKeesport 
and Mrs. Samuel Cook of Meyersdale.
  Funeral services were held at the Konhaus Funeral Home, Meyersdale, Friday 
afternoon, conducted by the Rev. W. G. Smeltzer, D.D., pastor of the First 
Methodist Church, Duquesne.  Interment was made in Union Cemetery.
