Born Aug. 30, 1931, in Mount Pleasant, daughter of John and Anne Margaret (Zelenske) Farkosh. Preceded in death by parents, and brother, Eugene Farkosh. Survived by children: Mrs. Marsha Urban of Dover, Pa., Mrs. Marlene Dwire of Somerset, and Mrs. David (Jodi) Powell of Berlin; grandchildren: Scott and Rick Urban, Kayla and Brandy Mills, and Carrie Bailey; step-grandchildren: Jennifer Riggs, Erin, Marilyn and Adam Powell; and step-great-granddaughter, Madalyn Powell. Sister of Richard Farkosh of Pittsburgh and Mrs. Jay O. (Coletta) Hay of Somerset. Member of St. Peter's Catholic Church. A 1948 graduate of Somerset High School. Retired in 1994 as a dietary aide for the former Somerset State Hospital with 12 years of service. She also was a caregiver for 18 years for Lucille Stoughton and her family members. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, Somerset. Funeral Mass will be conducted 10 a.m. Tuesday, at St. Peter's Catholic Church, Somerset, with Monsignor Samuel J. Tomaselli, Celebrant. Committal, Somerset County Memorial Park. Vigil for the deceased will be held 8:45 p.m. Monday. Contributions may be made to Somerset Oncology Center, 314 S. Kimberly Ave., Somerset, Pa., 15501.
