Hileman, 83, Hollidaysburg, passed away on April 6, 2004, at Somerset Hospital. Born Jan. 2, 1921, in Baileyville, the daughter of Thomas V. and Adeline (Geist) Hunter. Besides parents, also preceded in death by her husband, Albert, who died April 18, 1984; sisters, Janet and Marion; brothers, Tommy, Robert and Jimmy. Survived by her daughter, Karen and husband, Michael McCalpin, with whom she resided for seven years and their daughter Kelley Appleman; daughter Cynthia and husband Eddie Mercer of Jacksonville, Fla., and Cynthia's daughters: Tracy Stefurak, Rebecca South and Kristina Garrett and five great-grandchildren. Mrs. Hileman was a talented seamstress, artist, actress and homemaker. She was a woman of great strength, surviving breast cancer, brain aneurysm and numerous other serious illnesses over the last 20 years. At the request of Mrs. Hileman there will be no public viewing or visitation.
