  Robert E. Hill, 85, 563 Grove Ave., Johnstown, died Aug. 20, 1986, at
  Christian Knight's Home, Johnstown.  Born April 20, 1901, Boston,
  Mass., son of the late John and Mary (Sampson) Hill.  Preceded in
  death by first wife, Theresa Wegas; son, John; and brothers, Thomas,
  Walter, Paul, Edward and the Rev. John.  Survived by second wife, the
  former Mary (Grimm) Rosenberger, and children: Mary, wife of Thadeus
  Kush, Newark, Del.; Robert, married to the former Janice Mabry,
  Spencer, Mass; also daughter-in-law, Carol Hill of Johnstown; seven
  grandchildren.  Brother of: Helen, wife of Clifford Philippi,
  Somerset; Ida Snyder, Akron, Ohio; and Alex, married to the former
  Sarah Bower, Friedens.  A retired coal miner, member of the U.M.W.A.,
  Retired Men's Club, Senior Citizens, the Johnstown & Florida Chapters
  of A.A.R.P., and Federal Mobile Home Owners of Florida.  There will
  be no viewing or receiving of friends.  Services will be held at a
  later date at the convenience of the family.  Picking-Treece-Bennett
  Mortuary, Inc. of Johnstown in charge of arrangements.
