Hill, 61, of Versailles, Ky., formerly of Friedens RD 1 (Listie), died 3:20 a.m. May 17, 1978 at St. Joseph's Hospital, Lexington, Ky. He is survived by his widow, Betty; three daughters, Carol, Cathy and Connie, and two granddaughters. Also survived by these brothers and sisters: Robert of Johnstown; John of Olanta; Edward of Denver, Colo.; Mrs. Helen Phillippi of Somerset RD 5; Mrs. Ida Snyder of Akron, Ohio; and Alex of Friedens RD 1. He was a member of the Lexington Lutheran Church and served in World War II as a member of the Merchant Marines. Funeral services are in charge of the Blackburn Funeral Home in Versailles, Ky., and visitors are being received from 3 to 5 p.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday.
