Hillegas, 80, of Frostburg Village, Allegany County, Md., formerly of New Baltimore, died Dec. 28, 1980, at Cumberland Memorial Hospital. She was born Jan. 15, 1900, in Somerset County, daughter of the late George and Barbara (Grasser) Imgrund. She was preceded in death by husband, Clarence Henry Hillegas in 1958; also by two brothers and six sisters. She is survived by these children: Miss Dorothy L. Hillegas, Cumberland, Md.; Ralph M. married to the former Ruth Hillegass, Berlin RD 3; Marian B., wife of Richard Mikula of Spring Grove; Grace E., wife of Harold Badgley of Parkersburg, W. Va.; eight grandchildren. She was a sister of Mrs. Regina Naylor, Windber, and Michael Imgrund of New Baltimore. She was a retired employee of Carmelite Monastary [sic] in New Baltimore for 16 years. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church of New Baltimore, where concelebrated mass of Christian Burial was held with the Rev. Clyde R. Ozminkowski, O. Carm., principal celebrant, and the Rev. Robert F. Flaherty, O. Carm., co-celebrant. Interment, St. John's Cemetery. Friends were received at the Mickle-Geisel Funeral Home, Schellsburg.
