  HILLEGASS
    
    Mary Jean Hillegass formerly of Berlin, passed away at the Hospice
  Elizabeth House in Hendersonville, N.C., Sept. 17, 2003.  She was a
  devoted wife and a wonderful mother.  Jean is survived by her beloved
  husband of 52 years, Deane Hillegass; son Craig of Colorado;
  daughter, Terri Keeney of West Virginia and five grandchildren, Josh,
  Caroline, Lindsey, Kimberly and Emily.  In addition she is survived by
  seven sisters and one brother, Faye Mitchell, Dorothy Mostoller,
  Helen Walker, Thelma Gohn, Shirley Einig, Kay Blough, Donna Antenucci
  and Charles Hillegas.  A memorial service for family and friends will
  be held at a later date.  Shuler Funeral Home of Hendersonville,
  N.C., is in charge of arrangements.
