  HILLEGAS
  
  Ruth M. Hillegas, 57, of Berlin RD 3, died Jan. 28, 2985, at home.  Born
  June 6, 1927, in Allegheny Township, the daughter of Ray and Alice (Egof)
  Hillegass of Berlin RD 3.  Survived by parents; husband, Ralph M.; and
  sons, Barry, married to former Karin Hromada, Longmont, Col.; and Thomas,
  married to former Nancy Thom, Silver Spring, Md.  Also survived by brother,
  Dean of Berlin RD 3; and sister, Mrs. Mary Broesecker, St. Petersburg,
  Fla.  Member of Trinity United Church of Christ, Pius Spring Womans Club,
  and Trinity Chapter No. 138, O.E.S., Somerset.  Employed until last June as
  an LPN at Somerset State Hospital.  Friends will be received 7-9 p.m.
  Tuesday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at the Johnson-Kuhlman Funeral Home,
  where services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, the Rev. Carl W. Schwarm
  officiating.  Interment, Schellsburg Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers,
  contributions in her memory to American Cancer Society, Somerset County
  Unit, or Windber Hospice P.C.U., 600 Somerset Ave. Windber, would be
  appreciated.  Eastern Star memorial service will be held at 7:30 p.m.
  Wednesday at the funeral home.
