  HILLEGAS
  
    Thomas W. Hillegas Sr., 78, Country Manor, Jerome, formerly of Somerset
  Pike in Ferndale, died Jan. 7, 2001.  Survived by wife of 23 years, the
  former Mary Ellen (Hammer) College, three children, two stepchildren: Lee
  J. College, married to Theresa Bodziak, Rockwood RD; and George S. College,
  married to Barbara Patas, Windber; 11 grandchildren and two sisters. 
  Charter member of St. Andrew's Catholic Church, Benscreek, where he served
  as an usher for many years.  Also member of the Teamsters and was a retired
  employee of the former Monarch Linen Supply, Johnstown.  Army Veteran of
  World War II.  Friends received from 2-9 p.m. Tuesday at the Hoffman
  Funeral Home, Route 403 and Church Rd., Davidsville.  Funeral mass at 10
  a.m. Wednesday at St. Andrew's Church.  Committal, Grandview Cemetery,
  Johnstown.
