Hillegas, of Allegheny Twp., near New Baltimore, died suddenly April 7, at his home, from heart failure. Mr. Hillegass, widely known in that section of the county as "Applebutter Bill", by reason of his large production of apples & applebutter, had been complaining for some days of not feeling well, but was able to get about the house & yard. Las Thursday while going to the barn with a pail of water he dropped over. His wife was at the house & saw him fall. She hastened to him, but he breathed only a few times & expired.
