  HILLEGASS
  
  Annie Pearle Hillegass, 85, of St. Paul's Home, Greenville, formerly of
  Berlin, died Aug. 16, 1982, in the Greenville Hospital.  She was born Oct.
  18, 1896, in Stonycreek Township, a daughter of Luther and Mary (Glessner)
  Hillegass.  She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Nellie
  Landis and Etta Lambert; nine brothers, Robert, John, Howard, George,
  Harry, Ross, Alvin, Nevin and Lester.  She is survived by a sister, Mrs.
  Mary Fritz of Garrett, and nieces and nephews.  She retired in 1965 after
  50 years of teaching in the Berlin-Brothersvalley Township School
  District.  She was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ, Berlin, the
  Retired Teachers' Association, and Trinity Chapter 138 Somerset Order of
  Eastern Star.  Friends will be received 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at the
  Johnson-Kuhlman Funeral Home, Berlin, where services will be held at 2 p.m.
  Wednesday, the Rev. Charles W. Sigler officiating.  Interment, Berlin
  I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
