    Evelyn B. Hillegass, 80, of Somerset RD 6 died July 17, 1996, at
  Conemaugh Medical Center, Johnstown.  Born Aug. 1, 1915, in Pittsburgh. 
  Daughter of Clinton and Ruth (Baldwin) Christner.  Preceded in death by
  parents; husband William; brothers Billy, Edwin and Eugene; sister Mary
  Wambaugh; and grandsons Jeffrey Hillegass and Jay Berkey.  Survived by
  sons, Edwin D., married to the former Erika K. Beard, Hagerstown, Md.; and
  Terry L., married to the former Virginia Berkey, Fairhope RD 1.  Eight
  grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren.  Sister of Marjorie Maust, Berlin,
  and Betty Conrad, Somerset.  Retired from Dietary Department of Somerset
  State Hospital.  Member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Somerset. 
  Family will receive friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today, Friday, at Deaner
  Funeral Home, Stoystown, where service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday. 
  The Rev. Glenn E. Sadler officiating.  Interment, Walker Cemetery,
  Shanksville.  Memorial contributions may be given to St. Paul's UCC,
  Somerset, Pa. 15501.
