Born Dec. 11, 1957, in Meyersdale, the son of George Edward Hilliard, Genessee, and Nellie Ellen (Lung) Slayton, Salisbury. He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Heidi Roxann (Sechler) Hilliard; two sons, Herbert Jackson Hilliard and Corie Rex Hilliard, both at home; six half brothers, Toby, Todd, Terry, Rocky, Champ and Michael and four half sisters, Rhonda, Tammy, Renee and Lori. Mr. Hilliard was a self-employed truck driver, owning and operating H & H Transport and Rigging. He was a hauler for Wagman Construction, York. In 1976, he started racing in the limit-ed late model car class at Somerset County Fairgrounds and was currently racing at The Rock, Allegany County Speedway, Cumberland, Md. He has also raced at Thunder Valley, Roaring Knob and the Bedford Speedway. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Newman Funeral Home Inc., 9168 Mason-Dixon Highway, Salisbury, where services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday. The Rev.
