   Paul W. "Pete" Hilliard, 81, Ursina, died March 7, 2007, at Golden Living Center,
  Meyersdale. Born July 13, 1925, in Humbert. A son of George and Ida (Bradshaw) Hilliard.
  Preceded in death by parents; wife, Minerva Jane (Leonard) Hilliard; daughter, Leona
  Ruth; brothers, Harry, Vernon "Hap," Scott "Spike," Henry and Arthur; sisters, Gladys,
  Maxine and Leta. He is survived by daughters, Helen Bowser, Grantsville, Md.; and Carol
  Phillippi, Markleton; eight grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Friends will be
  received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Humbert Funeral Home, Confluence,
  where a service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday. The Rev. Dean Hay Jr. officiating.
  Interment Ursina Cemetery.
