Hilliard, 63, Confluence, died Feb. 5, 2002 at Westmoreland Regional Hospital, Greensburg. Born Jan. 17, 1939 in Confluence, a son of the late Scott F. and Verna Pearl (Thomas) Hilliard. In addition to his parents, preceded in death by a brother Ronald. Survived by daughters, Karen Rae Alesantrino of Somerset and Rebecca Hayden of Markleysburgh; six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; brothers, Martin, Norman, Keith, and Dennis, all of Confluence, Clyde of Springfield, Va., James of Silver Springs, Md., and sisters, Ida Kay Thompson of Confluence, Ada Fay Shaffer of Ursina, Denise Foy and Wanda Jean Hause, both of Berlin, and Sharon Chipps of Somerset;[sic] Also a long-time friend Doris Kleinert and son John of Berlin. Veteran of the U.S. Army and a member of Confluence VFW Post 7250 and the Turkeyfoot Fish and Game Association. Friends received from 2 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Humbert Funeral Home, Confluence, where service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday with the Rev. Duane Riddle officiating. Interment, Maple Summit Cemetery.
