(Chet) Hinkle, 69, Franklin, W.Va., died April 28, 1979 at his residence. Born September 27, 1909 in Keyser, W.Va., he was a son of Mrs. Sarah Hinkle, Petersburg, W.Va. and the late J. Wesley Hinkle. He was a member of the Petersburg Church of The Brethren and had owned and operated the Atlantic Oil Company distributorship at Petersburg and Franklin for 41 years. Surviving are, his widow, Mrs. Alma (Creigler) Hinkle; a son, Nathan Beachley, Franklin; four sisters, Mrs. Ruth Luttrell, Winchester, Va.; Mrs. Agnes Boyce, Keyser; Mrs. Margie Betty, Grantsville, Md.; and Mrs. Helen Weaver, Baltimore, Md., and two grandchildren. Friends were received at the Kimble Funeral Home where services were conducted in the Franklin Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Donald S. Wilkinson officiating. Interment, Cedar Hill Cemetery.
