  HINKLE, Homer Donald 09/08/07  Daily American
  
   Homer Donald Hinkle, 75, Somerset, passed on Sept. 7, 2007 at home. Born Oct. 11, 1931,
  in Goshen, Va., he is the son of the late Ernest and Mary Hinkle. He is also preceded in
  death by his wife, Mary Olive (Pletcher) Hinkle; son, Donald Hinkle; and brothers, Pete
  and Bud Hinkle. He is survived by his son, William Hinkle, Somerset; grandchildren, Amber
  Marie Lowery, William J. Hinkle II, Justin T. Hinkle, Brandy Lynn Will and Rene Irene
  Will; and sisters, Helen Longhorn, Betty Miller and Patricia Hinkle. He is a veteran of
  the U.S. Air Force in the Korean and Vietnam wars. A graveside service will be held at 10
  a.m. Saturday at Scullton Cemetery with full military honors accorded by the Somerset
  County Honor Guard. Arrangements by Miller Funeral Home, Somerset.
