She was born June 3, 1924, in Bedford County, a daughter of Thomas J. and Barbara E. (Von Moose) Meck. She is survived by her husband, Homer Hinzy of Markelton; these step-sons: Homer Jr. of Somerset; David Sr. of Markleton; James of Beaver; Carl of McCall, S.C.; Harry of Confluence; Larry of Beaver; Theodore of Virginia; Rick of Markleton; and John, at home; these step-daughters: Mrs. Ronald (Dewella) Saler of Rockwood; Mrs. James (Mary Edna) Phillippi of Beaver; Mrs. James (Darlene) Lytle of Addison; Mrs. Larry (Sharen) Dwire of Barton, Md.; and Mrs. Marshall (Jacqueline) Magruder of Barton, Md.; one brother, Phillip Meck of Fayetteville; two sisters: Mrs. Clyde (Devenna) Tallett of Nashville, Ark.; Mrs. Roy (June) Coldsmith of Shipleyburg; two step-sisters: Mrs. Fred (Virginia) Radar of Windber; Mrs. Leo (Gloria) Shelko of Lanham, Md.; 31 step-grandchildren and one step-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents. Friends were received in the William J. Wood Funeral Homer, Rockwood, where services were conducted with the Rev. Larry Patrick officiating.
