  HITCHMAN
  
    Martha Hitchman, 87, of Valley Drive, Somerset died Sept. 14, 1998 at
  home.  Born Oct. 26, 1910 in Canton, Ohio.  Daughter of the late James C.
  and Nettie (Shelley) Fowler.  Preceded in death by husband James S.
  Hitchman in 1976.  Survived by these children: Mrs. Frank (Susan) Drader of
  Seaford, England; Rebecca Hitchman of Culver City, Calif., and James Fowler
  Hitchman of Somerset.  Also granddaughter Allison Koto of Culver City,
  Calif. and sister Mildred Bole of Glassboro, N.J.  A graduate of Wooster
  College with a bachelor of science degree in chemistry.  Arrangements in
  charge of Miller Funeral Home, Somerset.  Memorial contributions may be
  made to the Humane Society of Somerset County.
