Hittie, 83, of Berlin RD 1 died March 18, 1990, at Somerset Hospital. Born Feb. 19, 1907, in Northampton Township, son of Herman and Emma (Wiesel) Hittie. Preceded in death by parents; brothers-William, Elmer, Henry and Clarence; sisters-Nora Brant, Matilda Brant and Pearl. Survived by wife of 59 years, the former Ella Maust; son, Blaine Sr., married to former Margaret Holiday, Berlin RD 1; grandchildren: Debbie Lyons, Blaine Jr. and Marcie Simmons; great-grandchildren-Amy Housel, Brittany Hittie, Alan Lyons and Brandy Simmons. Brother of Eva Baker, Berlin; and Mary Garner, Indianapolis, Ind. Retired farmer. Member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Berlin, and Valley Grange. Family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Rev. Melvin A.
