  HITTIE
  
  Henry W. Hittie, 86, Berlin died June 17, 1987, at Maple Mountain Manor. 
  Born May 11, 1901, in Northhampton [sic] Township, son of Herman and Emma
  (Weisel) Hittie.  Preceded in death by parents, son Robert, three sisters
  and three brothers.  Survived by wife, the former Marion Maust, and these
  children: Mrs. William (Anna Marie) Ghrist of Greensburg; Jay, married to
  the former Betty Brown of Mercer; Mrs. Roy (Mary Ellen) Hemminger of
  Somerset; Dwayne, married to the former Marian Barth, Berlin RD 4; and Mrs.
  Cecil (Janet) Barron, Huston, Pa.; 15 grandchildren and 15
  great-grandchildren.  Brother of Eva Baker, and George Hittie, both of
  Berlin; and Mary Garner, Indianapolis, Ind.  Member of Holy Trinity
  Lutheran Church.  He was a carpenter for William Baltzer for many years. 
  Friends will be received 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday (today) at the
  Johnston-Kuhlman Funeral Home where services will be held at 1:30 p.m.
  Saturday, the Rev. Ralph E. Mills officiating.  Interment, Berlin I.O.O.F.
  Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorials in his memory to Holy Trinity
  Lutheran Church would be appreciated.
