  Hixson
  
  Roy A. Hixson, 86 of Somerset RD 4, died Feb. 17, 1979 at his home.  Born
  Aug. 17, 1892, in South Huntington Township, a son of the late Amzi and
  Belle (Sinsley) Hixson.  He was retired from U. S. Steel, Donora Works;
  member of the American Legion, and veteran of WW I.  Survived by son, James
  Hixson of Reynoldsville; a daughter, Ruth Scholl of McKeesport; and son, Don
  of Somerset RD 4; three brothers and four sisters; also 17 grandchildren and
  four great-grandchildren.  Friends will be received at the J. William
  McCauley Funeral Home, 901 Vine Street, West Newton, after 2 p.m. Monday. 
  Funeral services at the funeral home, Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev.
  William Morgan officiating.  Interment will follow in the West Newton
  Cemetery.
